Sailing in Greece Tips
It’s Hot Girls Summer, Biiiiiiitch! ☀️ Let’s sail again!! ⛵
To ensure you and your friends have an enjoyable and comfortable time, here are some tips for your journey.
🧳 What to Pack? 👙
Essentials for Water Fun
- Swimming wears: Swimming pants or swimming suit
- Sun bathing wears: Speedo or bikini
- Flip flops / Water shoes: You might hike on some islands and you don’t want to bring your sneakers on dinghy.
- Quick-dry towel: The boat has towels, but grab an extra quick-dry one for daytime dips! Save the boat’s towels for proper showers.
Essentials for Sunny Greece Island Vibes
- Sunglasses: For shielding those gorgeous eyes and serving looks, duh!
- Hat with brim: Keep that sun off your face and look super chic!
- Water bottle: One that keeps water cool is ideal.
Essentials to Blend in Island Nightlife
- Some nice shirts or dresses: Ugh, one trip I totally missed the memo, and all my Greek friends showed up in fancy linen, while I was there looking like a total hobo! Not again!
Nice to Have Items
- Beach towel: To lay on rocky or sandy beaches.
- Dry bag: For island or beach runs!
- Earplugs: To avoid Junyu’s snoring! 🤫
- Spare contact lens: Just in case one goes overboard!
- Zipper bag: To protect your phone from water when bringing it to the beach in a dry bag.
Not Really Needed from Home
- Sunblock: It’s better to buy a few bottles at a cheaper price and share them on the boat.
- Snorkel: The boat normally has this equipment, perfect for checking out the underwater world even when it’s wavy!
- Shampoo and shower gel: You’ll have limited fresh water on the boat, so you won’t shower much. Let the sea waves moisturize your hair and sunblock moisturize your skin!
